Bon Jovi - these days tour: remarkable things
| - This tour had the longest shows Bon Jovi ever gave, as almost every show lasted over 2,5 hours. - The 1995 tour also included many songs from These Days. When the band started touring in 1995 the These Days album was supposed to be done already but it got delayed, hence the band touring the Cross Road album at first. In 1996 These Days had been released for a good year and 5 singles had been released as well, hence this being called the These Days tour. - Bon Jovi puts in an acoustic set for the first time ever. Wanted Dead Or Alive is given a piano solo and I'd Die For You is reworked into a ballad. On a few nights I'd Die For You is dropped and being replaced by an acoustic version of I'll Be There For You or Never Say Goodbye. - A full American leg of the 1996 tour was planned but was never anounced because of disappointing ticket sales for the 1995 tour in North America. - Bon Jovi rarely plays all 5 singles from These Days. Lie To Me was the least played and Hey God and Something For The Pain the most. - Bad Medicine finally is being taken out of the last part of the setlist and is put in the start. No more Shout this tour! A blessing for a lot of fans. - This is, together with the 1995 Tour are the tours that most fans think of as a career high for Bon Jovi. Shows have never been as good as in the mid nineties with Bon Jovi peaking almost every night and Jon not worrying about his vocals. Setlists were no longer focussing on material from the eighties but focussed on the These Days album. |
